Minyoung Kang is an interdisciplinary artist based in Seoul, South Korea. She uses virtual reality, digital art, photography, painting, and installation as her main mediums. Her research interests are the understanding of the relationships between the environment and human impact in regard to materials, light, and space. In her project, she experimentally blends physical and virtual spaces while approaching environmental problems that are meaningful, poetic, and artistic. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kookmin University.
